Newcastle join Man Utd in race for £60m-rated winger

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United have renewed their interest in Michael Olise, who is also being targeted by Manchester United.

The 22-year-old winger has been in excellent form this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 17 Premier League matches.

He delivered one of his best performances against Manchester United, scoring two goals in Crystal Palace's 4-0 victory.

Despite not being able to offer him Champions League football next season, Manchester United are said to be leading the race for Olise. However, Newcastle's involvement could complicate things for them as they have been monitoring the player since his days at Reading.

Last year, Olise was pursued by Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, but he stayed with Palace. Although he has a contract with Selhurst Park until 2027, a lucrative offer could tempt the Eagles into selling.

Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested in the winger and could make a move for him in the summer transfer window.
